This is a weekly article where we connect—you and me, reader and writer. It’s a more personal space, while my other articles serve you as a guide on what to do, eat, and drink in this lovely city we call Savannah, Georgia.
You’ll also find links to my weekly work featured in local publications like The Savannah Agenda.
I’ve officially surrendered pants until the fall. And closed-toe shoes.
This whole week, every time I walk outside for 30 minutes, I have to peel my clothes off afterwards. Gross. WTF. I’ve never wanted October more.

Really rocking that sweaty Betty energy.
And no—this is not some glistening babe glow. Nothing cute about looking like a hot mess.
It’s thin, breezy dresses for me now. Sandals. Popsicles. Naps.
Just going full Barcelona mode. Underwear optional.
It reminds me of when my friend Cha went mildly viral a few summers ago for screaming online:
“It is HOT. I know it’s hot, you know it’s hot. Stop talking about how hot it is, because it makes it even hotter. You insufferable bastards.”
He’d be so disappointed in me.
But I’ve suffered quietly. For the most part.
So what’s happening?
I know it’s Saturday. You’re already out, already glowing, maybe already drinking.
But here’s the thing: The best party in Savannah is actually happening tomorrow at Savoy Society.

👉 Click here to read all about it.
Also not posted in the article: I’ll be there with a bodypainting and glitter table working this event.
So come get some ✨✨✨
See you at 3 PM until close, Sunday, June 22nd at Savoy Society. 🔥
Last week, I was blissfully free from bartending commitments.
This week? It was like an episode of The Bachelorette.
And yes—I picked the most attractive and dashing of all the bartending jobs. 💅
After several interviews, weighing vibes, and low-key overanalyzing everything, I’ve officially secured a new bartending spot locally—so I’ll be back to slinging drinks with that spicy smile you all love.
Details soon.
A couple of articles dropping next week:

- “Where to Find Savannah’s Best Dubai Chocolate Creations”
- A spotlight on The Laundry Diner and its explosive opening success
I’ve ha myself a Dubai Chocolate week.
Everyone and their mom deserves one of those: unapologetic, luxurious, and pure hedonistic indulgence.

No regrets.
If you read my Unfiltered Savannah last week, you already know:
Mondays are for the service industry at The Alida Pool.
This coming Monday, Miss Paradise (Maggie) will be DJing—and that’s always amazing*.*
Kat, who works at The Alida, shares:
“Essentially, the event is a free day pass for service industry workers—30% off food and drinks, a specialty cocktail, and a DJ from 2 PM to 5 PM.”

Don’t miss it.
Wishing you a very refreshing and flavorful week.
